When it comes to your natural teeth, cavities are one of the most common reasons for dental decay and tooth loss. Here are some reasons why dental implants are the way of the future so you can see how they can help with your issue.

Guide to Dental Implants

What Kinds of Risks Could Dental Implants Possess?

The possibility of an infection and swelling in the area where the screws are put is one of the potential hazards associated with dental implants. Periodontal disease patients are recommended against undergoing this surgery due to the inherent hazards. A patient’s gums and jawbone must be in good health for dental implants to be successful.

Care Instructions for Dental Implants

Compared to your natural teeth, dental implants are simpler to care for. The crowns of these teeth cannot be harmed by bacteria or germs that cause cavities since they are made of synthetic materials like porcelain and resin. To keep it clean and fresh daily, you must brush and floss at least twice daily.

Do Dental Implants Eventually Decay?

No, dental implants are not susceptible to tooth decay or cavities. Since the titanium screws holding dental implants to your gums and jawbone are artificial, cavities cannot impact them. The fake tooth affixed to the screws is also made of porcelain or resin, neither of which can develop cavities or other dental problems.
