When to Get Dental Implants: 3 Warning Signs

photo of dental implants in Port St. Lucie

You feel a lot of sensations in your mouth and teeth. There will be times that you will just feel the need to have your teeth whitened or get braces for a straighter smile. However, there could also be common signs that mean complex dental procedures such as getting implants. Save yourself now from future dental complications by knowing when you should get dental implants in Port St. Lucie.

3 Signs That Signify the Need for Dental Implants

Missing Teeth

If you are missing a tooth or more, you no longer have to get used to being ashamed of it in public. There’s still hope in restoring your smile, and dental implants are a great option. Implants will fill in the space where the gap was. They also look like your natural teeth, so no need to worry about faking a smile.

Infected Teeth

When it comes to infected teeth, situations differ. There are some infections that can still be cured without extractions, but if your teeth are already badly damaged, your dentist may need to remove them. These will then be replaced by implants that will serve as strong and durable as your natural teeth.

Your Dentist Says So

The diagnosis your dentist presents to you is based on your oral health. Your dentist will never want to do you any harm. This is also one of the reasons why you will need a dentist whom you can trust. If a dentist tells you a tooth extraction and implant are necessary, it’s in the best interest of your health to listen.
